PURE-EPI : Epicatechin Extract by PrathFit | The Plateau Breaker
Are you stuck? Finding it difficult to put on more muscle?
PrathFit's PURE-EPI can be a natural barrier breaker for you in terms of muscle building, try it for 30-45 days along with proper training, nutrition and you will feel the results yourself. You can even get your Body composition analysis before starting PURePI and 30 days after consuming it and see the results for yourself!
Myostatin is the enemy of muscle mass, PrathFit's PURE-EPI reduces myostatin in the body which helps you put on some serious muscle.
NOTE: Due to such rise in demands it seems that few people have begun to stock this up in order to resell it in the future when the stock of PrathFit runs out and due to which we have decided to limit the purchase quantity to max. 2 bottles per person.

Now let's see what the research has to say about epicatechin!
Changes in protein levels of molecular modulators of growth and differentiation in young vs. old were examined (human skeletal muscle). We report the effects of Epi in mice and the results of an initial proof-of-concept trial in humans, where muscle strength and levels of modulators of muscle growth were measured. In mice, myostatin and senescence-associated β- galactosidase levels increase with aging, while those of follistatin and Myf5 decrease. (−)- Epicatechin decreases myostatin and β-galactosidase and increases levels of markers of muscle growth. In humans, myostatin and β-galactosidase increase with aging while follistatin, MyoD and myogenin decrease. Treatment for 7 days with (−)-epicatechin increases hand grip strength and the ratio of plasma follistatin/myostatin.
Below are the graphs showing comparisons.
Well, now let's see how it does wonders for older people!
To investigate the effects of resistance training and Epicatechin supplementation on muscle strength, follistatin and myostatin in sarcopenic older adults, 62 males underwent a supervised 8-week randomized controlled trial. Participants were divided into Resistance Training (RT), Epicatechin (EP), Resistance Training+Epicatechin (RT+EP), and Placebo (PL) in a double-blind method.
Below is the graph comaparing the effects of epicatechin on the myostatin levels of these individuals.
Below is a table showing changes in physical factors upon introducing epicatechin.
BMI body mass index, LBM lean body mass, appMMI appendicular muscle mass index [appLBM (kg)/height (m2)], PASE Physical Activity Scale for the Elderly, kcal/day, TUG timed up and go, Fst/Mstn ratio Follistatin to Myostatin ratio
In conclusion, doing resistance training and Epicatechin supplementation simultaneously led to a more increase in AppMMI and muscle strength following myostatin and follistatin plasma levels enhancement comparing the independent impact of each of these interventions separately in sarcopenic older adults. Therefore, resistance training with Epicatechin supplementation can be considered as a more effective approach for controlling or a likely treatment of sarcopenia (along with plateau breaking for advance lifters) than doing resistance training or Epicatechin supplementation individually.
